The Silver-haired head is a crown of glory...

“You shall rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I am the LORD.” (Lev. 19:32)

We are one of 5 local churches that rotate Sundays throughout the month visiting with the residents of the Hammonton Center and Heritage Assisted Living Home in Hammonton.

We enjoy a time of worship in song and bring a message of God’s love through the cross of Jesus to a group of people who often feel very alone.

Though our time with the residents is generally brief, to them it can be a welcome break from what is sometimes simply the weariness of life. In truth, the residents may not always care for the worship and they may not listen to the Word, but they look forward to spending a little time with people who let them know they are loved.

Before Jesus ascended in to heaven he said, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) While neither The Center or Heritage may be “the ends of the earth” it is where we are being sent.

Care to join us? You may find yourself blessed through the blessing of others -- and heeding the Word of God.
