"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Here at CCH, our goal is to see children grow in their walk with the Lord and learn to love Him with all their hearts! Our programs and curriculum are specifically designed so that each child is exposed to the "whole council of God" and is challenged to "write God's Word in their hearts."
It is our prayer that this will prepare each child for a life of service that would be found "holy and acceptable to God." Along that end, if you have any questions, concerns, or would like to serve as a possible teacher or helper, please contact Trinity LaFreda for more information.
Our Sunday School meets each Sunday at 10:30 am. It is for children age 3 (who are potty trained) through 6th grade. In Sunday School, children will learn more about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and be challenged to grow deeper in their faith. Children are encouraged to memorize Bible verses, tell others about Christ, and develop a personal relationship with God.
Our teachers teach lessons based on age appropriate curriculum that uses the entire Bible, God’s Holy Word, as its base. We encourage the children to actually open their own Bibles and read along with the lesson being taught.
Other exciting things that happen in Sunday School are singing songs, making crafts, and playing games to reinforce the Bible truth of the day.
We count it a privilege and blessing to be able to minister to the children. Sunday School is an exciting, engaging environment where we desire to lead children to a deep personal relationship with God.
Children’s Church is our children’s program that meets during our 9:00 am service. It is for children age 4 through 5th grade.
This program is very similar to our Sunday School except that all the children meet together in one class for their lesson. Here our teachers, again, teach lessons based on a curriculum that uses the entire Bible as its base. It is our desire to see children learn more about Jesus, grow in their personal walk with God, and become mature Christians that serve God through their adult life.
Much like Sunday School, children will sing songs, make crafts, and play games to reinforce the Bible truth of the day. Children’s Church is a fun and lively program where the Word of God is taught with the hope of deepening the children’s personal relationship with God.
"And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus."
2 Timothy 3:15
Discovery Club is a church sponsored weekly program for boys and girls grades K-5th. This Christ-centered program integrates spiritual and personal development.
It evangelizes and teaches discipleship, it also gives children opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends, have fun, and develop Christian values that affect every area of their lives.
Over the course of the club year, the children will memorize Bible verses, thereby earning Bible & Skill awards. The children sew their own banner to display all their awards on.
We start each night with prayer, review our memory verse for our Bible Award, and then work on our Skill Award (crafts, woodworking, cooking, art projects, etc.) We usually end the night with game time and a light snack.
If you have any questions, please contact the church office. We look forward to ministering to your kids in an effort to point them to Christ.
CCH offers a fully-equipped nursery for infant through 2 years of age. We have a loving and nurturing staff that will care for your baby as you take time to worship God.
We ensure that from check-in, to in-service recall, and finally to check-out, your children are never unaccounted for and are always under direct supervision. You can rest assured that we will care for and protect your children just as you would, for that precious hour you entrust them to us!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Rachel Mattia if you have any questions, concerns, or if you would like to serve!
